About Me

My photo
Stephanie Doell
Stephanie Doell has worked as a private music instructor for more than 15 years. While living in New Orleans, Stephanie maintained a full studio of flute and piano students, taught group piano lessons for Tots and Tunes, attended college, and performed on a regular basis. In Los Angeles, Stephanie has been a recommended instructor by local music stores and continues to perform as a freelance musician. Stephanie's students are strong performers, participating in at least one recital every year and in smaller gatherings to enjoy ensemble playing and musicianship with fellow students. Stephanie attended Loyola University New Orleans where she received a Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in 2003. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and majored in flute, with additional studies in music therapy, music theory, and a minor in psychology. Stephanie also works with children on the autistic spectrum and other special needs. She is a flute major with the Music Teacher's Association of California and encourages her flute students to take the Certificate of Merit exams. She is also an active member of the National Flute Association.
